Our hotel in Leipzig has two special features to offer. The top location of our design hotel in the city centre is by far not the only thing you can look forward to. Now you have the opportunity, because our Motel One Leipzig-Post has breathed new life into the listed building of the old Leipzig main post office. Built in 1964, it served for many years as the headquarters for telegraphy, letter and parcel post. Previously, the site had been home to the station for stagecoaches and mail riders since the 18th century, and later to the Reichspost. What could be more natural than to continue this tradition in the Interior? Already at the reception, golden post office horns and an original letterbox installation welcome you, ceiling lights by Ingo Maurer and Gubi recall telegram notes and postal fanfares. Accents that have an almost romantic effect in times of e-mail & Co. From side tables with a parcel look to postcard collages and a carpet with a stamp motif - there are countless details to discover in our inexpensive hotel in Leipzig. Of course, in addition to the comfort you know from our other Motel One hotels. Since 01.04.2023, the city of Leipzig levies an accommodation tax of currently 5% per night value, which has to be paid directly at the hotel by every guest, regardless of whether they are in Leipzig for private or business reasons
